Let us look at what the word D.I.E.T. should ideally stand for.
How many of us are really happy to start a restrictive Diet? Are these trendy diets sustainable? And most importantly are they a healthy way of reducing our body fat ? Read further to find out.
When we decide to follow a healthy lifestyle it should make a positive impact on our overall being. Not only the way we look but also the way we feel from within.
But many times we see that in a matter of few days our new restrictive DIET brings in fatigue and lack of vibrancy which is just the opposite of feeling light and happy. Soon we lack the will power to continue and we give up because of the constant cravings and the feeling of deprivation.
Let’s remove the burden and make it lighter and fascinating.
Like most people I too used to dread the word DIET because that meant giving up a lot of my favourite foods. Hence, a lot of times various diets came in quickly in my life and left with double the speed. The whole process makes you lose patience and when the diet fails you feel unworthy of becoming a fitter version of yourself.
The pain of failed diets leaves you with low morale and depressed. Because all the symptoms like lethargy, morning puffiness, brain fog, lack of interest etc come right back into your life once you give up.
Let’s breakdown what I learnt from my journey and how I interpret the word DIET as :
D stands for Discipline
I stands of Individuality
E stands for Enjoyable
T stands for Tasteful
Keeping up with a healthy diet has a lot to do with our routine. Each one has a different body type. Each body has it’s own response to the change. Once this is understood things start getting better.
We must all agree for the success in any sphere of life Discipline is key. But the diet should also be designed keeping in mind your age, lifestyle, deficiencies, etc Make this informed change under a guidance and your diet too can be enjoyable and tasteful.
Last but not the least the feeling of achieving goals cannot be described in words but only be felt. So, come along this journey of making a healthier you.
In this endeavour my recipes and various workshops can definitely help you take the first step.
