Honey-Lemon-Ginger Tea

All tea does contain antioxidants, but white, green, and  black teas have different amounts. Green tea and white tea are highest in plant compounds like epigallocatechin -3-gallate or EGCG, which is a really potent antioxidant that you see in extracts and supplements. EGCG is a very potent green tea catechin, due to it’s high antioxidant properties it is  associated with a host of  health benefits, including improved cardiovascular and immune system functioning.

A cup of this honey-lemon-ginger-tea will instantly rejuvenate your senses and give a feeling of well-being.  Highly recommended if you are under the weather.  It will definitely warm you up making you feel healthy again.

HONEY-GINGER-LEMON TEA (recipe)

Ingredients
:   Green tea , Ginger juice, Lemon juice and dash of honey.

Method :  In a cup of green tea add the required amount of ginger and lemon juice to suit your taste and add a dash of honey and voila!! your cup of antioxidant is ready to sip.

TipsGreen tea is a delicate tea, so when you steep in the leaves or the sachet do make sure the temperature of the water is tepid and not boiling hot, else the tea will become bitter and lose it’s natural properties.
